Marine act being reviewed
From tomorrow the public is being invited for their submission to assist in the review of the Marine Act.
The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji has announced this invitation in their efforts in making legislative recommendations that are practical, workable and effective for Fiji.
Further, the review is to propose law reform measures and recommendations that would lead to providing Fiji with a legislation governing maritime safety issues that is suitable to Fijis current and future needs in the maritime sector.
The Review Team will be holding public meetings in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka, Levuka, Savusavu & Labasa.
