At hand to to give them moral support were the Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Aziz, and other senior officers who turned up in large numbers with their red floral shirt.
Colonel Natuva reminded the boys to give all their best and dedicate their win to their comrades who had served in great numbers on both world wars and in the many theaters of conflicts since those wars. He asked them to play for their families, for their friends and supporters and mostly for those who were willing to answer the call to service and to the huge sacrifice, which but a proud nation like Fiji had made to freedom and peace in the world.
The Army rugby team remains confident of retaining the Sukuna Bowl when it takes on Police at the tfl National Stadium at 4pm tomorrow.
This year marks the 60th year of the Sukuna Bowl challenge and Major Penioni Naliva says the Fiji Military Forces has every faith their reps can retain the title having wrestled it from Police after five years.
