Pacific Battries Limited - Growing from Strength to Strength!

Pacific Batteries joins awards
Pacific Batteries Limited is the biggest battery manufacturing company in the South Pacific.

They will be entering the 2011 TFL Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards (EYA). The award winners will be announced at the Sofitel Fiji Resort, Denarau, 26 November.
As an ISO 9001 certified company for design, development, manufacturing and marketing of lead acid batteries for automotive, deep cycle and marine applications, the company is proud to be part of the awards.
Company general manager Diwakar Dubey said as previous winners at the awards, he felt excited.
“We will be entering under two categories; Exporter to the Pacific Islands Award, Manufacturing Exporter of the Year Award and are proud to be a part of the awards,” Mr Dubey said.
Having tasted victory in 2009 when they won the Medium Exporter of the Year Award, Mr Dubey said they had grown from strength to strength.
“Our export is more than doubled since then and we have explored new markets like Middle East countries.” Established in 1965, the company now exports its products to Papua New Guinea and other Pacific island countries.
“With a reputation for quality products and service, the company size and battery product range continued to grow offering and delivering more and more battery choices to local and international markets exporting to countries like Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Samoa, Tonga, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Singapore and the Middle East.
“In 2009 exports hit $1.4 million, in 2010 that amount increased to $2.9m and so far this year we have recorded $3.4m in exports,” he said.
Mr Dubey said the company worked on the basic principles of providing the best quality products at a minimum cost in the shortest possible time to their customers.
